Physiotherapy rehabilitation at home with New Lynn Physiotherapy

Remote, online physiotherapy appointments, now available in your home

You can now receive professional physio support while at home

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, New Lynn Physiotherapy is continuing with remote online telehealth service to ensure that our patients continue to have access to physiotherapy to help recover from any new or current injuries, surgery or musculoskeletal pain.

Now is the time that many people are exercising more and carrying out more physical activity like moving furniture, gardening etc. Many people working from home may also be struggling with aches and pains caused by less than desirable ergonomics. Our university-trained and experienced physiotherapists can help you at home to recover from pain and injury.

We are offering telehealth remote online consultations ensuring that details of your video consultation are secure, private and remain confidential. We will be using the Zoom platform for our video calls. On booking an appointment we will send you an easy step-by-step guide explaining how to set up the Zoom application and enter the appointment with your physiotherapist.

Telehealth by remote access ensures that you, the patient, can access your physiotherapist’s expert knowledge, education and skills to ensure you can manage your injury.

We will be conducting initial assessments for new conditions and injuries, entering our notes into our secure patient software system. Our consultations will involve giving you expert advice on the best way to manage your injury as well as specific exercise sheets that guide you through the various stages of treatment.

During your follow up appointments, we will assess your progress, adjust or update your exercise progression and monitor your progress over the future weeks.

To make an appointment, simply book online! Alternatively, you can email admin@newlynnphysiotherapy.co.nz to request an appointment.
